  11. I can get a Rockwell v34 chip for $15.00.  The guy said I need to find
  12. out if  my modem is flash upgradeable and that I would probably need
  13. some firmware.  I called up Zoom today and they said that my VFP28.8
  14. internal could not be upgraded. If I were to send it in for the
  15. upgrade they would send me a whole new modem for $89.00 .  I don't
  16. know if I am buying that or not.  I think that with a new eprom from
  17. Zoom and the rockwell chip I will have a v34 modem.  Anyone know
  18. different?
